We have an exciting opportunity to join a leading global agri-food business that partners with some of the UK's most recognised and innovative grocery brands.


This role is ideal for an ambitious and commercially minded individual educated to QCF Level 5 or 6 in a relevant academic discipline, with experience within the UK food supply chain gained through sales, category management, procurement, or technical functions.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support National Account Controllers in building and maintaining strong, long-term customer relationships.

  • Act as a key day-to-day internal and external contact, responding promptly to customer enquiries and collaborating across functions to resolve issues.

  • Analyse large datasets and produce reports on key commercial and performance metrics.

  • Develop a thorough understanding of market sectors through analysis of retail activity, customer performance, and competitor trends.

  • Ensure business processes, administration procedures, and best practices are consistently followed and communicated.

  • Support the delivery of value engineering and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Assist in the preparation of customer presentations, reviews, and business updates.

You will be an enthusiastic and proactive individual with a genuine interest in developing a successful career in FMCG.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • FMCG industry experience.

  • Experience within the UK food supply chain, ideally in sales, category management, procurement, supply chain or technical roles.

  • Broad IT competency and confidence working within a digital environment.

  • Strong analytical capability, including experience using data and reporting tools to generate actionable insights.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong presentation and stakeholder engagement skills.

  • Proven ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

  • Comfortable influencing, persuading, and negotiating with a range of stakeholders.

  • Strong planning, organisational, and prioritisation skills.

  • Flexible, resilient, and adaptable in a fast-paced commercial environment.

  • Self-motivated, disciplined, and results-focused, with the ability to use initiative and take ownership.
