Wealmoor Iberica is looking for an experienced Technical Manager to lead food safety, quality, compliance, and sustainability across our supplier network in Spain, Portugal and North Africa.

Working closely with growers, packhouses, retailers, and cross functional teams locally and abroad, you'll drive technical excellence from source to shelf while ensuring compliance with UK retailer standards and industry best practice.

Location:Southern Spain
Start Date: Q3/4 2026
Travel: Regular regional and international travel

Key Responsibilities

• Lead regional food safety, quality, and compliance programmes across the end-to-end supply chain

• Manage supplier, grower and packhouse key performance indicators, driving continuous improvement and accountability

• Deliver audit, certification, and compliance programmes to meet customer and company requirements

• Drive sustainability, human rights, and ethical trade initiatives across the supply base

• Drive crop quality, forecasting accuracy, and product availability to meet customer expectations

• Develop supplier capability through technical support, training and best practice sharing

• Lead product and packaging quality, development, and innovation initiatives, ensuring compliance, sustainability, and customer alignment

• Build strong relationships across customers, growers, suppliers, industry partners and the wider Wealmoor business

About You

• Degree in Food Science, Agriculture, Horticulture or related field

• Strong fresh produce, farming, sourcing or food manufacturing experience

• Knowledge of UK retailer standards, audits and food safety systems

• Fluent English and Spanish

• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

• Passionate about quality, sustainability, Ethics and continuous improvement
